PWS Revision 2 Industry Responses NASA/KSC released Revision 2 of the draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) for Exploration Ground Launch Services (EGLS). The draft PWS has been restructured but is still in draft form. The previously posted draft PWS sections are mapped to Revision 2 of the draft PWS structure in the PWS Structure Map. The draft PWS attachments are included in this release and are in draft form as well. The Government intends to make periodic updates to these attachments on the EGLS website as they become available. The Government’s responses to Industry comments received on the previously posted draft PWS will be posted by COB April 1, 2009. The italicized descriptions in the draft PWS describe content within that section and are solely to aid in the understanding of the content and are not requirements. These descriptions will not be present in the final version of the PWS unless industry requests that they remain. During the draft PWS comment period, the Government requests any comments or questions that will enable industry a better understanding of the scope or ability to propose on this scope. Comments and questions should reference applicable paragraph numbers using Revision 2 of the draft PWS and should be submitted in electronic format using Microsoft Office 2003 or 2007. Industry is encouraged to submit questions and comments as soon as they are identified. Industry may respond as frequently as needed through Monday, April 20, 2009. A complete list of comments and questions must be submitted on April 20, 2009. All comments must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer at Tammy.S.Burlein@nasa.gov no later than 12:00pm Eastern Time April 20, 2009. Telephone questions will not be accepted.
